Terms of Service

The rules for using FirstMileage, written in plain language.

Agreement

These Terms govern your use of FirstMileage, including our website, web app and mobile apps. FirstMileage is operated by OZIL TECH LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use FirstMileage for a company, you confirm that you have authority to accept them on its behalf.

Please also read our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Delivery Policy, which are part of this agreement.

The service

FirstMileage is subscription software for organizing mileage, trip details and vehicle-related expense records. It helps individual drivers and business teams track trips with GPS, categorize journeys, log expenses and prepare mileage reports. Features, limits and supported devices depend on your plan and are described on our pricing page.

Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use FirstMileage.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Business accounts: the company and its administrators are responsible for how drivers use the service. Before tracking any driver, the company must inform them and have the legal basis or consent that applicable law requires for location tracking.

Plans, free trial and billing

  • Free plan: limited as described on the pricing page, at no charge.
  • Free trial: Driver and Business include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. When the trial ends, paid features stop unless you choose a paid plan.
  • Paid plans: billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in US dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
  • Payments: processed by a third-party payment processor.
  • Price changes: we will give at least 30 days' notice, and changes apply from your next renewal.
  • Failed payments: we may suspend paid features until payment is resolved.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use FirstMileage unlawfully, or to track anyone without the authority or consent the law requires;
  • submit false or misleading records, or use reports to commit fraud;
  • share your login with others, or resell the service;
  • interfere with, scrape, reverse engineer or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.

Your data and your responsibilities

You keep ownership of the data you add to FirstMileage. You give us permission to host and process it only to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

GPS accuracy depends on your device, signal and settings. You are responsible for reviewing your trips, categories and reports before you rely on them or share them.

Not tax or legal advice

FirstMileage helps organize trip dates, distances, routes, categories and purposes. Country guides are general, educational information. We do not guarantee that any tax authority, employer or other party will accept your records, and we do not determine your final tax deduction. Check the guidance of the relevant tax authority and speak to a qualified adviser about your situation.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep FirstMileage available, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may update, improve or change features, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes. Current status is shown at status.firstmileage.com.

Intellectual property

FirstMileage, its software, design and branding belong to OZIL TECH LLC and its licensors. While you have an account, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these Terms.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using FirstMileage at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, are unpaid, or create legal or security risk. Export the records you need before closing your account; see our Data & Privacy page for how deletion works.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or tax outcomes, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or US$100 if you use the Free plan). Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot be limited by law, including mandatory consumer rights where you live.

Governing law, changes and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, subject to any mandatory rights you have where you live. We may update these Terms; we will post the new date above and notify you of material changes.
